American actor, born in Tripoli, Greece, on 25 October, 1907, as Christos Christopoulos. He made his onscreen debut in 1939 and his final appearance in 1965. His most notable works include White Christmas (1954), Gigi (1958), To Catch a Thief (1955), and Some Like It Hot (1959). He died on 8 July, 2000, in Santa Clara, California, US.
