An American actor, born in Pittsburgh, on March 31, 1905. He began working as a contract actor in the 1930s, but was not as successful as most contract actors. Among his most important works are: Some Like It Hot (1959), Eve Knew Her Apples (1945), and White Christmas (1954). He died in Montrose, on July 30, 1983 at the age of 78.
