American actor, born in Los Angeles, California in the United States of America on February 13, 1971 as Galen Laius Gering. He was brought up by hippie parents; he was born to Michel de Onat - a a painter and Alan Gering - a sculptor from a Russian Jewish family. At the age of 18, he moved to New York City to start a modeling career and finished his undergraduate studies at the University of Miami where he studied creative writing and film. He graduated in May 1999. He married Gina Gering, and they got two children and acted together. He is known for Passions (1998-1999), Miss Match (2003), and Venice the Series (2009-2016).
