An Australian actor. He was born in 1979 in Melbourne, Australia. He has worked in theatre, television, and film since graduating from high school in 1996, without formal acting training. He won the Australian Churchill Scholarship to study theatre, translation (poetry), and radio drama in Paris. In 2005, he became one of the youngest members of the Sydney Theatre Company, The Actors Troupe. His notable works include *The Code*, *Tom White*, and *The Hunter*. He has won several awards throughout his career. He married Australian actress Yael Stone in 2012; they divorced in 2016.
