A Japanese actress, born on January 23, 1950, in Tokyo, Japan. She is known for The Pursuit of Happiness (1988), for which she won the Festival Prize for Best Supporting Actress at the 10th Yokohama Film Festival, Labyrinth of Dreams (1997), and Tengoku no Taizai (1992).
