• An Austrian actor, born in Prague, Bohemia, Czech Republic. His works include The Third Man (1949), Der Prozeß (1948), and Isle of the Dead (1945). He was married to Anuschka...Read more Fuchs. He won an Honorary German Film Award in 1964 for his continued outstanding individual contributions to the German film over the years. In 1948, he was awarded the Best Actor award at the Venice Film Festival for the film Der Prozeß. He died on March 22, 1969 in West Berlin, West Germany.
