An Iranian actress, born in Tehran to filmmakers Jahangir Kosari and Rakhshan Banietemad. She started acting in some of her mother's films to launch into the world of cinema at a young age. She made her debut in The Best Dad in the World (1991). Her other credits include Cold Sweat (2018), Mainline (2006), and The Nameless Ally (2015), for which she won the Crystal Simorgh Award for Best Actress at the 25th Fajr Film Festival.
