British actor, born in Ilford, Essex, England, on January 1, 1946. He began his career as a child actor, best known for the lead role in Oliver's play. His first films as an actor was Play It Cool in 1962 and as a photographer was the movie Battle of Britain in 1969. His last work as a photographer was You will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger in 2010. His most important works include: Willow (1988), Golden Eye (1995), Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (2004), and Krull (1983).
