English actress and director, born on 11 July, 1960 in Surrey, England. She studied at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts. She was previously married to comedian Paul Merton, then she got married to Sam Farmer in 2006, and they have two children. Her works, include: British Men Behaving Badly (1992-1998), Blue Murder (2003-2009), and Doctors (2015).
