American actor, who was born in Manhattan, New York, on June 1, 1900 as Michael William Lally. He was to married actress Pauline Wagner. His notable works include Future Cop (1976), Coma (1978), and Two-Fisted Gentleman (1936). He acted in film and television. He was one of the organizers of the The Screen Actors Guild (SAG). His first movie was The Truth About Youth (1930), and his last work was Columbo (1972-1978). He died in Los Angeles, on February 15, 1985, at the age of 84.
