American musician, actress, and singer, born on January 25, 1969, in Detroit. At the age of 21, she moved to Los Angeles, where she worked in writing positions while trying to pursue a music career, achieving success with her single "Girl from the Gutter". She is known for The New Guy (2002), Poetic Justice (1993), and Robbery Homicide Division (2002).
