A Trinidadian actor, born Francis Ethelbert Dominic Singuineau, in Port of Spain, Trinidad, British West Indies. He was previously married to actress Doreen Keogh (1954-1963). After moving from Trinidad and Tobago to Britain in the forties, he worked at the Shell Company and showed interest in amateur plays, and after World War II, he gave up his job and worked in the Unity Theatre and Bristol Old Vic. His notable works include An American Werewolf in London (1981), Firepower (1979), and Simba (1955). He died in London, England, UK on September 11, 1992, at age 79.
