Romanian director and writer, born on October 3, 1932 in Gore Okniti, Romania. He was a member of the jury at the 4th Moscow International Film Festival. Among his works are: Setea, Lupeni 29, and The Poseidon Explosion. He passed away on October 31, 2017, in Romania.
