British comedian, singer and television presenter, born in Swansea, Wales, on September 8, 1921. Harry won a BAFTA Special Award in 1993. He got married to Myra Atherton (1948-2001) and they had 4 children. Among his important works: The Bed Sitting Room (1969), Sunstruck (1972), Song of Norway (1970), and Oliver! (1968). He died in Surrey, England, on April 11, 2001 of prostate cancer.
