American actress, model and singer, born as Yvette Iola Vedder in Kansas City, Missouri, US on 26 August 1928. She was born to musician parents and studied photography and theater at the University of California, Los Angeles for 3 years. She appeared in several TV series before she made her film debut in Short Cut to Hell (1957). Her notable works include Attack of the 50 Foot Woman (1958), Attack of the Giant Leeches (1959), and What's the Matter with Helen? (1971). She made her final appearance in 1991, after which she focused on her singing career. She died of heart problems in 2010, approximately, as her body was found about a year later in her apartment in Beverly Crest, Los Angeles, US.
