An actress from Trinidad and Tobago, born in Trinidad and Tobago. After graduating from City College of New York with a degree in Drama, she spent seven years developing her own one-woman show Hazelle! She became the first black actress to play a prominent role in a Woody Allen film, playing a role in Deconstructing Harry. Her other credits include Chinese Coffee (2000), Hannibal (2001), and Heat (1995).
