Iranian director and writer, born on September 12, 1947. He holds a bachelor's degree in film and television directing from the College of Performing Arts in Tehran and a master's degree in film directing from the University of Milan, Italy. He started his artistic career by directing short films. His works include Mr Shadi's Assignment (1993), Ghazal (2001), and The Indian Gift (1994).
