An Italian actor and stunt performer, born in Rome, Lazio, Italy, on March 23, 1911. Among his most notable works are The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958), The Giant of Marathon (1959), and Argoman the Fantastic Superman (1967). He worked in Italian, French, Spanish, and American cinema, and trained many stars in fencing, including Gina Lollobrigida, Burt Lancaster, Errol Flynn, Charlton Heston, and Tyrone Power. He died in Rome, Lazio, Italy, on February 15, 1994, at the age of 82.
