She is a Canadian actress, born on May 2, 1989, in Burnaby, Canada. Her parents are Korean immigrants, and her sister is the actress and writer Diana Bang. She obtained a degree in psychology from the University of British Columbia. She is known for Kim's Convenience (2016-2021), Luce (2019), and Running with Violet (2019-2020).
