She is an Italian actress and director, born on October 12, 1940, in Florence, Tuscany, Italy. She is the mother of composer Andrea Farri and the sister of actor Paolo Poli. She launched her career with the children's theater in 1970. She is known for Albergo Roma (1996), Gostanza da Libbiano (2000), and The Double Hour (2009). She won a Nastro d'Argento for "Best Supporting Actress" for her performance in Albergo Roma (1996).
