An Italian-born American film and television actor, born in Livorno, Italy, on March 11, 1908, as Victor Raoul Romito. He began his career by participating in the adventure movie The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938). His most notable works include Passport to Danger (1954-1955), Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1957), and Harry and Walter Go to New York (1976), the last of which featured his last role. He died in Los Angeles, California, USA, on May 13, 1980, at the age of 72.
