An American writer and lawyer, born in Connecticut, United States, and grew up on the campus of Yale University. His father Stephen Wizner worked as a professor of law at the university’s law school, while his mother was the university’s dean. Ben graduated from Harvard University and worked for an organization that provides legal assistance to the homeless. He also served as the chief lawyer for the National Security Agency. Wizner appeared in several documentary works, such as Secrecy (2008) and Citizenfour (2014).
