British actor and writer, born on December 21, 1917 in Edmonton, London. He got married to British actress Patricia Hamilton in 1949, and they had three children. His works, include: The Saint ( 1963-1969), My Partner the Ghost (1969-1970) and Dr Jekyll & Sister Hyde (1971). He died on August 10, 1974 in Truro, Cornwall, England.
