She is a Canadian actress and singer, born on August 15, 1985, in Pickering, Ontario, Canada. Her mother is Jamaican, her father is St. Vincentian, and she is of Indian and Portuguese descent. She went to St. Mary Catholic Secondary School in Pickering, Ontario. She is known for Degrassi: The Next Generation (2002-2006), Black Actress (2013), and Cadet Kelly (2002).
