A British actor, born in Boggabri, Australia, on July 6, 1924, as John Haddon McGuire. Among his most important works are The Avengers (1968), Complete and Utter History of Britain (1969), and The Chastity Belt (1972). He appeared in many BBC TV series in the 1950s and 1960s. His first movie was Trial Gallop (1952), and his last work was It's Your Move (1982). He died in Godalming, Surrey, England, UK, on September 3, 1984, at the age of 60.
