Thomas B. Costain was a Canadian-American journalist, and novelist. He was born on May 8, 1885, in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. He is well known for The Black Rose (1950), The Silver Chalice (1954), and The Serial (1963-1964). He passed away on October 8, 1965, in New York City, USA.
