David John Battley was a British actor. He was born on November 5, 1935, in Clapham, London, England, United Kingdom. His works include That's Your Funeral (1972), Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971), and Krull (1983). He was the son of John Battley, who was the first Labour MP for Clapham (1945-1950). David was the father of actress Zoe S. Battley. He was homeschooled at first before attending a special school. He later attended Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts, which he left before finishing the course. He died on January 20, 2003, in London, England.
