A Chinse writer, and director, born on April 1, 1976, in China. She graduated from the China Conservatory of Music with a bachelor's degree in Italian Opera, and earned a Master's in Filmmaking from the Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts. She is known for The 17th Man (2004), Sailfish (2008), and One Night Surprise (2013).
