Iranian actor, director, and writer, born in 1936 in Astara. He went to Tehran and studied acting at the hands of an Iranian acting teacher and director, Abdolhossein Noushin. He started writing plays in the 1970s. His works include The Searcher (1989), The Spring (1972), and A Piece of Bread (2005).
