British actress, born on February 17, 1896, in Chelsea, London, England. She became a regular British character actor for several decades. Hinton is known for Gaslight (1940), The Crowded Day (1954), The Second Mrs. Tanqueray (1952), and Women Aren't Angels (1943). She died on February 5, 1979, at the age f 82, in Exbury, Hampshire, England.
