Daphne Anderson was a British actress, born on April 27, 1922, in London, England. She appeared on stage when she was 15 years old. Her professional debut was in the chorus of "Cinderella" (1937), at the Richmond Theatre , then made her London theatre debut in the chorus of the "Revudeville" (1938), at the Windmill Theatre. She appeared on TV productions and films. She is known for Gideon's Way (1964-1966), The Beggar's Opera (1953), and Silas Marner (1964). She died on January 15, 2013, in Chichester, West Sussex, England, at the age of 90.
