An Irish actor, born in Dun Laoghaire, Ireland, as John James Shercliffe Noble. His credits include A Song for Tomorrow (1948), Black Narcissus (1947), Penny and the Pownall Case (1948), and The Voice Within (1946). He debuted in Caesar and Cleopatra (1945) and ended his career with an episode in the TV series The Adventures of Robin Hood (1955). He died in Kensington, London, England, United Kingdom, on June 11, 1999.
