Scottish actress, born on April 12, 1929, in Inverness, Inverness Shire, Scotland. She trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and made her first appearance on stage in Leeds in "Edward My Son" (1947). Gray had a long stage career, particularly known for her appearances in the Whitehall farces, which was managed by her husband Brian Rix. She is known for Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994), Six with Rix (1972), and Fly Away Peter (1948). She died on February 18, 2013, in London, England.
