Brazilian-born actress born on 6 May 1918 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her career spanned over 4 decades. She made her film debut in 1952 and her final appearance in 1998. Her most notable works include Night of the Big Heat (1967), Empire of the Sun (1987), BBC Sunday-Night Theatre (1950), and ITV Plat of the Week (1959-1966). She died on 29 March 2014 in Hammersmith, London, UK.
