Austrian actress, born in Vienna, Austria on June 3, 1932, as Herta Padawer. She got married twice and did not have children. She was born to Jewish parents and entered the UK as an Austrian refugee in 1945 after spending time in a German concentration camp. She worked in British cinema and television for a short period before retiring and moving to the United States of America at the end of the fifties. She started her career as a freelance illustrator and model before she signed a contract with the Rank Film Company. Among her works are Fire Maidens from Outer Space (1956), The Good Companions (1957), and Count Your Blessings (1959). She died in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on December 23, 2010.
