Canadian dancer and actor, born on September 16, 1924, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Stone began his career with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet in Manitoba, and then moved to London with the Sadler's Wells Ballet. He formed a trio dance group called "Three's Company", and had several Broadway performances. He choreographed three of Julie Andrews' specials. Stone is known for Scrooge (1970), and was the choreographer for many works, such as Victor/Victoria (1982), and The Good Companions (1957). He died on September 23, 1986, at the age of 62.
