An Italian actress and director, born in Bologna, Italy. She trained at the Civic School of Dramatic Art Piccolo Teatro in Milan and became a professional actress in the theater. She also starred in the Oscar-winning film Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, in addition to several other artistic works.
