He is an English actor and presenter, born on May 9, 1950, in Urmston, Manchester, England, UK. He is known for Cold Blood (2005-2008), Bleak House (2005), and Agatha Christie's Marple (2006). In 2004, he won an Olivier Award for his performance in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men at the Savoy Theatre. He was previously married to Sarah Grey.
