Australian actress, born on 4 April 1925 in Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia. She was married to Leslie Linder. Dorothy attended Sydney Girls High School in Australia, then moved to London, England in 1949 to further her career. She did secretarial work while looking for jobs in British films. Her works include A Town Like Alice (1981), The Third Key (1956) and Georgy Girl (1966). She was nominated for a BAFTA Film Award for Crash of Silence (1952). She died on January 17, 1992 in London, England.
