She was a British actress, born in 1932 in Liverpool, England, UK. She is known for An American Werewolf in London (1981), The Remains of the Day (1993), and Scully (1984). She was married to David Swift, and they served as the J P Jacobs Charitable Trust's trustees, which was established in her late father's honor. She died on June 26, 2021.
