British actress, born in Oldham, Lancashire, England, on March 7, 1945. Caroline got married to Wytham Greer in 1977. She attended theater school from the age of 12, joined the Bromley Theater at age 17, and first appeared on television in 1961. She made two films, On the Buses (1971) and Mutiny on the Buses (1972). She retired from acting in 1978 to pursue her work in the publishing industry. She's known for Z Cars (1968), Dad's Army (1968), Softly Softly (1967), and Casanova (1971).
