British actress, born in Croydon, Surrey, England, on January 15, 1920 as Pamela Isabel Cundell. She got married three times and had one child. Her father was an opera producer, and her mother was an opera singer. She worked in the field since she was fourteen years old with a performance group, and trained at Guild Hall School of Music and Drama. Her first television appearance was in 1957 with Peter Sellers. Pamela participated in amateur theater in her later years, and directed many shows. Her notable works, include: Dad's Army (1969-1977), Mrs. Brown You've Got a Lovely Daughter (1968), and TwentyFourSeven (1997). She died in England, on February 14, 2015.
