British actress, she appeared in a number of classic British comedies and sitcoms throughout the 1970s. She never got married, and was friends with actor and stuntman Harry Fielder. Her works, include: Carry on Matron (1972), Carry on Girls (1973) and Mutiny on the Buses (1972).
