Australian actress, born as Mumta Premji Ghedia on January 18, 1976 in Leeton, New South Wales, Australia. She studied at the University of Sydney and earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications. She then traveled to London where she trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. She has worked extensively in UK theater including with the Royal Shakespeare Company. She got her first TV role in the series Home and Away in 1992 after auditioning among two thousand candidates. She's known for Snowblind (2010), Jindabyne (2006) and No Monsters in Berlin (2017).
