German actor, born on February 14, 1959, in Sangerhausen, Germany. His works include Bear Ye One Another's Burden (1988), Berlin, Berlin (2002) and Meine schönsten Jahre (2004). Together with co-star Jörg Pose, they won the Silver Bear for Best Actor at the 38th Berlin International Film Festival.
