A German-Czech film and television actress, born in Haindorf, Czechoslovakia. She studied acting in Magdeburg. Between 1954 and 1958, she was a member of the ensemble of the Deutsches Theater. She started her career in Greifswald. She made her film debut in 1954. Since then, she has played numerous roles in films and on television. Her credits include Who Am I - Kein System ist sicher (2014), Maximilian von Mexiko (1970), and Die Zeit und die Conways (1960). She passed away on March 3, 2021, in Berlin, Germany, after a short illness, at the age of 90.
