German actress, born on February 11, 1972, in Stuttgart, Germany. She studied acting at the Hamburg University for Music and Theatre from 1993 to 1997. She was a member of the band, Schauspielhaus Leipzig from 1997 to 2001. She is the older sister of Frieder Wittich. She was married to Giulio Ricciarelli, and they had three children. She was previously married to Krystian Martinek. She is known for Trial by Fire (1998), Lautlos (2004), and Der Mann von nebenan (2002). She died on June 28, 2019, of a heart attack in Grosseto, Italy.
