Among his notable works are Big Breadwinner Hog (1969), Clochemerle (1972), The Witch's Daughter (1971), and The Andromeda Breakthrough (1962). He made his television debut in The Big Client (1961), and his final role was in the miniseries To Play the King in 1993. He died on June 8, 1996, at the age of 70, in St John's Wood, Middlesex, England.
