British actress, born on June 16, 1929, in Kensington, London, England. Hayman attended local drama classes before going to the Royal Academy of Music and gaining a qualification in teaching. After performing in several plays, she made her film debut in The Belles of St. Trinian's (1954) in an uncredited role. She was often cast in upper-class or eccentric roles. Among her notable works are The Pink Panther Strikes Again (1976), Doctor Who (1971), and The Young Ones (1984). She died on June 3, 2021, at the age of 91, in Gloucestershire, England.
