German actress, born on February 19, 1953, in East Berlin, East Germany. She is married to Michael Knof, and they have two children. She is the daughter of Karl-Eduard von Schnitzler and Inge Keller, and the mother of actress Pauline Knof. She is known for Martin Luther (1983), Dantons Tod (1977), and Ein idealer Gatte (1986).
